Founded in 1982 as a means of helping nonprofits solve management problems, ESC provides assistance in all areas of nonprofit management consulting. Over 1,400 agencies have taken advantage of the unique and affordable resources provided by ESC since its inception.

ESC works with the nonprofit community on a variety of issues ranging from board development to strategic planning in Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and Rhode Island. We are one of many Executive Service Corps affiliates across the country.

Quality and affordability are the hallmarks of ESC - they are the dual tenets on which we were founded. These characteristics are reflected in the services we provide to nonprofits which help them improve their performance and increase their impact on their constituents and the community.

We offer a wide array of support for nonprofits that includes:

  • Publishing NewEnglandJobs.org - a weekly job bulletin and web site linking nonprofit practitioners with jobs in the nonprofit sector.

We are able to provide these services due to the generosity of over 120 volunteer consultants with proven, reality-based, problem-solving skills who are dedicated to helping nonprofits address their most critical management issues. This year the estimated value of these donated services was more than $2,100,000.
