ESC's Unique Business Model
All of ESC's consultants are senior level professionals who volunteer their time and expertise because they are committed to helping our clients succeed. As a result, our consulting fees are significantly less than a for-profit consulting organization. We charge a flat fee for our services, so our consultants are able to stay with the project to assure meaningful outcomes.
ESC consulting engagements are conducted by teams of 2-3 consultants drawn from our pool of 100+ experienced professionals who are well-trained in nonprofit management issues and offer diverse specialized skill sets. Additional consultants can be brought into assignments for specific needs as issues arise at no extra cost.
Our Process
Request for Assistance: Clients are encouraged to complete our online Request for Assistance which will provide ESC staff with a brief description of your organization and the type of consulting assistance your organization needs. Clients are also encouraged to call ESC directly or send an email to learn more about how ESC can be of service.
Assessment Visit: A ninety minute consultation provided free of charge with a team of experienced ESC consultants who will work with you to determine your organization’s key issues and to prepare a scope of work to address them.
Draft Proposal: An outline of the potential project to be approved by the client that delineates the scope of work and how the ESC team will approach the project.
Engagement Letter: The consulting services contract between your organization and ESC, based on the draft proposal. Once the engagement letter has been signed, the project will start.
